General Notes
The inscription was discovered in the Sactuary of the Great Sphinx. A.-G. originally reconstruted the PN as Marduk-šum-ukiin. Given what we know of the Sheik Faḍl inscription and the Amherst Papyrus, it is not unreasonable to see this as Šamaš-šum-ukin (Moore).
