On the 15th of Pay[ni, year x|4|5 of King Darius|Artaxerxes|Amyrtaeus], then in Elephantine, Mipta[hiah daughter of Gemariah, a Jewess]
of Elephantine the fortress (and) an Aramean according to her detachment, (1) said (2) to Isweri daughter of Gemar[i]ah, a Jewess of the same [detachment], say[ing]: I
gave you silver, 6 shekels, that is six, by the stone(-weight)s of the king, silver zuz to 1 karsh. I, Miptahiah, gave it to you in affection
in consideration of (the) support [(with) which you supported me and I with]drew from yo[u] from this day and forever. I shall not be able to bring against you suit [or] process in the name of (= regarding)
[this silve]r [whi]ch [I] ga[ve you, which is written] in this document. And son of mine or daughter of mine, brother or sister of mine, near or far, shall not be able
[to bring against you suit or process. Whoever shall bring (suit) against you in the name of (=regarding) this silver which] I gave you shall give you pena^l^ty of silver, 2 karsh, [mo]reover.
[Isweri] (6) said: (7) [The ration which is mine from the (store-)house of the king and your silver, you Mi]ptahiah, which was in your hand—you gave it to me, and my heart was satisfied
[herein from this day and forever and I withdrew from you from] this [sil]ver and (from) the ration which was mine from the (store-)house of the king. And I shall not be able
[I, Isweri, to bring against you suit or process. Moreover, son] of mine or daughter of mine, partner-in-chattel or partner-in-land who is mi[ne shall not be able (to sue) in the na]me of (= regarding) this silver
[which you gave me and this ration which was mine from the (store-)house of the ^[m]ine^ king]. Whoever shall bring (suit) against you in the name of (=regarding) this silver and [the] ration [which] is written above
[shall give you penalty of silver, 2 karsh. PN son of PN wrote] this document at the instruction of Miptahiah daughter of Gemariah. And the witnesses herein:
