On the 24th of Shebat, year 13, that is day 9 of Hathyr, year 14 of Darius the King, in Elephantine the fortress,
said Maḥseyah son of Natan, 1, Yedanyah son of Natan, 1, all 2, Arameans of Syene of the detachment of Var[yaza]ta, saying: We have acted as equals
as one and divided (between) us the slaves of Mibtahiah our mother. And behold, this is the share which came to you as a share, you, Jedaniah:
Petôsîrî by name, his mother (being) Tabiˀ, a slave, {yw⸢d⸣| yw⸢r⸣}, 1, branded on his right hand (with) a brand reading (in) Aramaic like this:
“(Belonging) to Mibtahiah.” And behold, this is the share which came to me as a share, I, Maḥseyah: Belleˀ by name, his mother (being) Tabiˀ, a slave, {yw⸢d⸣| yw⸢r⸣}, 1,
branded on his right hand (with) a brand reading (in) Aramaic like this: “(Belonging) to Mibṭaḥyah.” You, Yedanyah, have right to Petôsîrî,
that slave who came to you as a share, from this day and forever and (so do) your children after you and to whomever you desire you may give (him). I shall not be able —
I, Maḥseyah, son or daughter of mine, brother or sister of mine, or an individual who is mine — suits to bring against you or against your children on account of Petôsîrî
by name, the slave who came to you as a share. If we bring suit against you about it — we, Maḥseyah or my children — or bring (suit) against son
or daughter of yours or against an individual who is yours on account of Petôsîrî, that slave who came to you as a share, afterwards we shall give you the penalty (of) pure silver,
ten karsh by the weight of the king, and we are withdrawn from you and from your children from (any) suit on account of that Petôsîrî
who came to you as a share. Yours shall he be and your children's after you and to whomever you desire you may give him, without suit. Moreover, there is Tabiˀ
by name, the mother of these lads, and Lîlû her son whom we shall not yet divide (between) us. When (the) time will be, we shall divide them
(between) us and, (each) person his share, we shall take hereditary possession, and a document of our division we shall write between us, without suit. Wrote Nabûtukultî son of Nabûzerˀibni
this document in Elephantine the fortress at the instruction of Maḥseyah and Yedanyah his brother. The witnesses herein: (2nd hand) Menaḥem son of Gadûl;
(3rd hand) witness Ḥanan son of Ḥaggay; (4th hand) witness Natan son of Yahôˀûr; (5th hand) witness Šillem son of Natan.
Document (sealing) of division of (the) slave Petôsîrî (which) Maḥseyah son of Natan wrote for Yedanyah son of Natan his brother.
