Textual Notes
sam hand: Pl. P13461D- P. 23140-1 is written parallel to the recto’s fibers, and the quality of the papyrus appears to be different (thinner) than 550, 39 + B/AM x 623, 55. That said, fold patterns of Pl. P13461D- P. 23140-1 resembles that of a letter or contract. Because there is no writing on its backside, it does not appear to be end of a letter, which should have writing on both sides. Fragment B/AM x 556 , 41 shows some similarities in hand and material, but is too different to be considered part of this document given the current evidence. Pl. P. 13461A- P. 13445B-15 also shares affinities with this document. Pl. 13445E- P. 23140-41 + P. 23140-42 is a very similar hand and pen-nib; that document, however, is written parallel to the recto’s fibers Possible joins: none. P. 23115, P. 23116, Pl. 13461A- P. 13461-3, P. 23102 have been checked and do not belong to this document.
