On the 8th of Pharmuthi, that is the 8th d[a]y of Tammuz, year 3 of King Darius, then
[in Elephantine] the [fort]ress, I, Anani son of Azariah, a servitor of YHW the God, say to Jeh(o)ishma
by name, my child whose mother is Tam[et] my wife, saying: I, Anani, g[av]e you one house, built,
containing beams, (its) l[ength] being seven, that is 3[+4](=7), cubits by the measuring rod [by six; and half the courtyard]
(which) they call (in) Egyptian [the hโyt; and half the stairway]. These are the boun[da]ries of [th]at house: below i[t] is
the house of Anani son of Azariah [...] ... between them; a[bo]ve it is
the treasury of the king; west [of it the house of Shatibara adjoins i]t, east of it is (ERASURE: the house of) the
house of Hฬฃor, a servant of Kh[num the god. I gave it to yo]u. You, Jehoishma my daughter,
have right to [this] hous[e, who]se boundaries are written in [t]h[is] document, below and a[bo]ve.
And yo[u] have right [to] ascend and to descend by th[at] stairway [of] my [h]ouse. And [that] courtyard [which is]
bet[w]een them, ^the^ bottom and th[at a]bove, between Pelatiah my son and [Jehoi]shma my daughterโ[half]
to Pelat[ia]h and half to [Je]h[oishma ...] ... I, Anani, [ga]ve you this hous[e]
and half the courtyard and half the stair[way. And] y^o^u [have right] to them to ascend above and descend
and to go out outside. I, Anani, gave you these houses in affection.
I, Anani, (14) shall ^not^ be able (15) to reclaim (them) from you. And I shall not be able to say: โMy soul desired (them). I shall reclaim (them) from you.โ
^Whoever^ shall stand up against you to evict you from the ho^u^ses which I wrote and ga[ve you shall give to Jehoishma]
my daughter a penalty of silver, 10 karsh [by the stone(-weight)s of the king, silver 2 q(uarters)/zuz to the ten/1 karsh, without suit].
