Textual Notes
This is written on a palimpsest. The palimpsest appears to be writting on the throwlines of the sherd. The overwritten text is slightly oblique to the throwlines.
cc 3; <note>perhaps produce with thorns or from a thorny plant, e.g. Ziziphus spina ?</note>
cc 5: It is clear in the high def photos that what Röllig reads as ג is a י with the leg of the above נ crossing it on the left. What he reads as a נ in he name does not paleographically match the other נ’s in the document. The reading ז is more likely. נעמראו: perhaps a name? cv 4: (Note: R = פ) as for the element נעמ see the Yehawmilk Stele (KAI 10 = CIS I 1), for which it is used as quid pro quo "good things" (Akk. ṭabtu = Aram טבת) from the diety to the patron/benefactor.
