Syene 14-2-139-1/1 (Moore)

cc 2: One is tempted to read {ע⸢ד⸣נ | ע⸢י⸣נ | ע⸢מ⸣נ} with the central letter written defectively. The center letter appears to be written defectively. It looks like a פ but עפן "foliage (?)" is expected to have a medial י and is not known so far in IA (cf. Dan 4:9, 11, 18) I am tempted to read עמנ "with us" but the מ in the previous line precludes reading מ here. cc 3: cf. ונפרט... in H5–AP99 [5881] (ID 10073). Admittedly, TAD reads something different on that text. Unclear if the ו is the conjunction or part of the name. But cf. נפרפסע on cg no. 215 Note: it appears to only be coincidience that the context includes birds and the semitic word "wing" and the Egyptian name Konufi share the same consonents. The vowel between nf in the Semitic word is missing in Aram and Akk, is a-class in Heb. First reading: cc
