Textual Notes
Fragmentary (end of ?) letter/missive. Script, Aramaic. Sharpened stylus. Professional hand. Text mentioning an Egyptian Psry, item ordered to be given, final person mentioned.
cc a: At first glance the first letter looks like י but this right side of the right stroke does not come to a pointed end like all other strokes on the ostracon. There is also interference from the ד|ר above.
[...]⸢פ⸣חו⸢ר⸣ח[...] perhaps variant of חרחבי or חרחת
⸢פ⸣חומח : unknown
later: cc 4: originally read: {[...]⸢פ⸣חו⸢ר⸣ח[...] | [...]⸢פ⸣חננעח[...] | [...]⸢פ⸣חומח[...]}
Compared to the ח in חנמ the last two strokes of the line are not ח. The right leg of ח is made AFTER the crossbar and without a pen-lift in this hand. The pointed profile of the pen should not be visible on the top of the right stroke of ח. The pen profile is visible on the top of the second to last stroke of the line. Hence read as numeral 𐡘.
