Textual Notes
Dušek, “Review,” 119
Rotation: side-to-side
The use of adverbs is interesteding, אפ, הא, כענ
The writer seems to use the plural second person when referring to a location where the reader is, but singlular second person when referring to the commands and authority specific to the reader.
cc 1: The idiom פקד ל is known from Ahiqar C.1.1.191 in הן יפקד לך מראך מין למנטר [אל] תשתׄהׄ "If your lord shall intrust administrative right to you (of) water to watch it, [do not] drink it".
cc 3: So too AD-S in HL. It is unclear if Maˁûzî is the subject or the indirect object pronoun is presumptive, making Maˁûzî the object. Generally √נפק (C-stem) takes nonhuman objects.
cv 1: כבינ cf. 11832. DAIK / SI O 4643, Fund-Nr. 38800. cc. 03. where it seems to mean thorns?
cv 4: the word spacings is basically missing.
