The statue of Hadad-Yisˁi which he sat before Hadad of SKN,

the canal inspector of heaven and earth who brings down wealth and provides pastures

and drinking holes (for) all the people and who gives drink-offerings and chalice-offerings

to all the gods his brothers. The canal inspector of all canals

of every land is his merciful god of his his prayer and his admiration. he dwells,

SKN the great lord, lord of Hadad-Yisˁi, king of Gozan, son of

Shamsh-Nuri, king of Gozan, for the life of his soul, and for his long days,

and for making his years many and for the peace of his house, and for the peace of his descendant(s) and for the peace of

his people and to remove illness from him and to hear his prayer and to receive

the saying of his mouth, they are and he gives (the statue) to him. And whoever is after,

may he (continue to) carry (it), erecting it anew, and may he put my name on it and any child of my name. But whoever should efface my name from it

and put his name (on it), may Hadad, the warrior be his foe. The image of Hadad-Yisˁi

king of Gozan. and of SKN and of Oˀzan to establish the decedents of his throne

and to lengthen his life, in order that his utterances belong to gods and to men.

May this image be better made than that before (it). He added it before Hadad

who dwells is SKN, the lord of the ḥubur. His image he put. Whoever effaces my name from the items

of the temple of Hadad my lord, may my lord Hadad not take his bread and his water from

his hand. May Sawal, my lady not take his bread or his water from his hand. And may he sow,

but not reap. May he sow a thousand barley-measures but may he take a parīsu-measure from it.

May 100 sheep nurse a lamb, but it not be satiated. May a 100 cows nurse

a calf, but it not be satiated. May a 100 women nurse a child, but it not be satiated.

And may 100 woman bake bread in an oven but may it not be filling. And from the dunghill, may his people scavenge barley that they may eat.

And may death-plague and the affliction of Nergal not be cut of from his land.
