I am Zakkur king of Ḥamat and Luˁaš. I am a humble man. [He delivered m]e
Baˁalšamayin and stood/stands with me. Baˁalšamay[in] made me king [over]
Ḥad⸢ra⸣k. Then Barhadad son of Ḥazaˀel, king of Aram, united against me
ten kings: Barhadad and his army, Barguš and his army, the king of
Qweh and his army, the king ˁUmq and his army, the king of Gurgu[m]
[and ]his[ ar]my, the king Šamˀal and his a[rmy] the king of ML⸢Z⸣ (Melitene?) [and his a]r[my ...]
[...] Se⸢ven⸣[ty kings]
[Th]⸢e⸣y and their armies. All of the kings set up a defense against Ḥaz⸢ra⸣[k]
They erected a wall greater than the wall of Ḥazrak. They dug a trench greater than [his] tre⸢n⸣[ch].
⸢But⸣ I was lifting my hand(s) to Baˁalša[may]in, and Baˀalšamayi[n] answered me. [(12)Baˁalšamayin (11)said]
to me by the authority of seers and by the authority of witness⸢es⸣[ and] (13)Baˁalšamin (12)said he said t[o me],
"Do not ⸢f⸣ear! For I made [you] ki[gn and I]
