General Notes
Sachau, p. 244. Sachau claims the provenance is unknown. TAD ascribed it to Elephantine (TAD D p. 214), which is likely correct. Aimé-Giron refers to Schubert, who wrote him stating that despite Sachau labelling the provenance unknown, it was found in the 1906/7 digs at Elephantine ("Un diptyque-écritoire araméen [avec 1 planche]," 86–87). The object is a leaf from a hinged diptych.
