Textual Notes
cv 2: Following AD-S and Lemaire, “Review,” 182. This may be a by-form of the name בלבן “Belbani” (EM 43479 col. i ln. 14) meaning “Bel builds.” cv 3: The Aramaic reading is certain, but it is unclear if one should read “wolf,” which in Eygpt likely refers to a jackal, or a substantive of √דאב “to languish.”
