cc 2: A dot begins the line, but this may be a remnant from the palimpsest. For נגנג, cf. no. 217.
cc 3: Perhaps a mill stone or skull?
cc 5: The overwritten text appears to have had an erasure. Afterward, a dot was written that precedes the ו. HL mistook this for a superlinear ו at the end of the next line.
cv 5: HL rightly notes the problem with the syntax should one read “handful”. The expected order should be Item Measure #. PKLWL does not appear to be a measure (HL, p. 373 n. 482). Here the term וחפנ follows, suggesting that we are dealing with a product that may be able to be dry measured.
new remark: – Her last point is that we have [...] 1 [P]KLWL and handful(-sized measuring cups ?) on no. 229. The word “and” between PKLWL and ḤPN (hand-measure) does NOT mean the two items are related. This measurement can often come before the item measured: “a ḤPN of x”. That seems to be the case here.
cv 6: Following HL לי is given as an option, though the reading is most likely א. Unclear if there is a word break between ˀ and M.
